Ms Christine’s teaching interests lie in advanced repertoire and theory she pioneered the Advanced Music Theory Course (Grade 6) in 2016.Īs the associate consultant of the piano department since 2016, Ms Christine has been involved in developing the syllabus for Creative Musicianship Classes. Her students have gained success in international competitions such as the American Protege Competition and local festivals, as well as successful auditions to conservatories on scholarship. She is also well-versed with diploma examinations, having prepared students for diplomas from Trinity, ABRSM and London College of Music, again with distinctions. An experienced and dedicated teacher, her students have done well in graded practical and theory examinations, mainly scoring merits and distinctions.
Upon returning to Singapore, Ms Christine joined Mandeville as a piano instructor her students thus far has ranged between 3-60. In her postgraduate years, Ms Christine collaborated extensively with various singers and instrumentalists, performing in London and France. Her passion for the piano led her to achieve the Licentiate (with distinction) and Fellowship diplomas from Trinity while pursuing the engineering degree.
